Awards for this well-documented and original vehicle include the very prestigious Dearborn Award from the Early Ford V8 Club of America, an especially notable achievement for a Woody. The Luxor Maroon exterior is complemented by all-original wood accents; 1951 was the last year that Mercury used real wood in its designs. This wagon also received First Place in the Concours Division from the Early Ford V8 Club of America and Most Original Automobile at the WGME Awesome Auto Tour.
