The 1932 Chevrolet Confederate was offered in a wide range of body styles.The Confederate’s all-original body is in amazing shape, as testament to the care the car received throughout 90 years. The various chrome components (grille, headlights, bumpers) have been re-chromed and look stunning. Wide whitewall tires mounted on the original spoked wheels with chrome hubcaps add the perfect exclamation point to this classic’s curb appeal.
Dual mounted spare tires, Spotlight, chrome rack, and trunk rack round out the external accessories.
Inside, the Mohair upholstery is in good condition, there is a radio,heat and defrost unit, and somewhat ahead of its time, a window shade for the back window is a feature that came back around in the 1990s. Full instruments grace the no-nonsense dashboard, and the three-speed manual shifter is topped with a Bakelite knob.
Under the hood, the bulletproof inline six and runs through a 3-speed manual transmission. The steering and brakes are likewise mechanically sound.
