This 1928 Chevrolet Canopy Express was a 2 year frame off restoration project with every nut and bolt removed and restored with all original parts. Every component has been gone through. The drive train, engine, transmission and starter are all original parts.
Attention to detail includes all gauges, switches and lights. This low mile beauty has been trailered to events and has been driven less than 20 miles since 1983.
Under the hood is Chevy’s 171 cubic inch overhead valve in head 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual
transmission.
Owner was a member of the Lower Michigan Region VCCA car club and this truck has been shown in several rally’s across the United State’s with an average score of 95 or higher points which placed it in the winner circle several times, including:
* National First Prize Winner in 1984
* Grand National Winner First Prize 1988
Also Included in Sale: period tool kit, jack set, hand-pump tire inflator, 2 spare “parts” carburetors, several NOS oil filters, cans of paint from restoration, and other parts in box, along with 3 original manuals for the 1928 truck.
