This 1953 Austin-Healey BN-1 is offered with no reserve. This vehicle was donated from an estate to benefit the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Until recently, this vehicle has sat for an extensive period of time in storage having not run under its own power in many years. Owls Head volunteers undertook an analysis check over of all of the systems to return this vehicle to a running condition. The fuel system was checked over, the carburetors were cleaned, and the fuel tank was removed, tumble cleaned and re-installed. Fuel filters and a new electric fuel pump were also added.
Owls Head volunteers and staff have driven this vehicle on museum property as part of their process. While museum staff have done a great amount of work in resurrecting this vehicle, further attention may be needed to bring this vehicle back to its full driving potential. Overall, this Austin Healey is an extremely solid to be enjoyed as is as a fun driver or base for further restoration. This car will be sold with a title.
