This is a true survivor, believed to be all original, except parts replaced to keep it roadworthy. The original Java Green paint is in very good condition. The four speed overdrive transmission functions very well. The wood dashboard houses Smith’s instrumentation including a functioning speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage, original British Leyland push-button AM radio reinstalled. The five-digit odometer shows 43383k miles, the true mileage unknown but believed to be less than 60k as the speed cable has been replaced.
The seller states there have been a few upgrades to make the car a more pleasurable driver, some of the upgrades include Electronic ignition,Zenith-Stromberg Carbs, Spin on oil filter, as well a new convertible top and New Coker Classic redline tires (w/ less than 1000 miles). Seller states the original Carbs, oil filter, and points are included in the sale.
