Being offered for sale is this beautiful Acura NSX, a mid-engined, two-seater, coupe sports car. Gordon Murray, the designer of the McLaren F1 supercar, stated that he used the NSX as the inspiration for the F1 after test driving many high performance cars and finding the NSX chassis performed the best, and exceeding the performance of the then V8 engine Ferrari range, while offering reliability and a lower price point.
The NSX became the world’s first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminium body. It was powered by an all-aluminium 3.2 L V6 engine, which featured Honda’s VTEC system developed in the 1980s, a 5-speed manual transmission.
The example, a one owner car was purchased new by the current owner in 2003. Included with the sale is the original window sticker, owner’s documentation folder complete with all original manuals and all other factory/ dealer manuals and booklets are included. The owner states that the clutch, timing belt and water pump were all replaced 5 years ago. Since new, the vehicle was always served and work performed at the dealership in Sarasota, FL or at Sunny Side Acura in Nashua, NH. This car has always been garaged in a proper facility and also states that the paint is original.
The seller states this car is a fun car to drive being quick, nimble and a head turner everywhere it goes.
