Offered from the sale from the Walgreen Collection is this elegant 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. Choosing a life’s passion more related to automobiles than his family’s drug store business, Mr. Walgreen for many years worked and developed a strong love for Cadillac. In 1971, while in his office, Mr. Walgreen was approached by a gentleman who informed him that he was ready to sell an Eldorado, this Eldorado, and that Mr. Walgreen should be the man to buy it. So he did just that. To date this top-of-the-line American luxury convertible has just over 27,700 original miles. Of the 2,100 Eldorado convertibles produced, this is an early model that still has the 1953 windshield without the side vent window. The car has been repainted once, and a new top was installed at that time. The interior is original. On the road, the original Cadillac V-8 engine is extremely smooth and the transmission shifts as it should. Sold with a title and registration.
