A true classic, the 1933 Packard 1001 Coupe Roadster was the only open-style body available in the Standard Eight, 1001 model series. The black exterior paint and red interior upholstery are highly presentable. Completed around 2015, this Packard underwent professional engine, transmission, and differential rebuilds, including the addition of a high-speed rear axle. The vacuum-boosted Bendix brakes have been rebuilt, as well as the rear springs, spring shackles, and shock absorbers. A great amount of effort and care went into this Packard by a previous owner to make this 1001 Coupe Roadster an extremely reliable classic car.
Purchased by the current owner in 2017, this 1001 Packard Coupe Roadster has been lovingly cared for under their guardianship and driven as an enjoyable recreational touring vehicle. During the winter months this vehicle was driven in the warm climates of Florida and transported back to Maine for casual drives along the coast of Maine. In between each destination, this Packard was routinely serviced by Packard specialists at Columbia Classic Cars. A Classic Packard of this vintage, style, and condition with No Reserve are rare to find. Sold with a Florida title and registration.
