Unveiled to the American public for the first time in 1959, the Chevrolet El Camino was the result of GM’s multiyear quest to create a utilitarian “pick-up” vehicle with the combination of a coupe styling and interior comfort. This particular 1959 El Camino is described by the consignor as being overall in very good to excellent condition and is offered for sale with No Reserve.
According to the consignor, this El Camino underwent a high-quality restoration prior to their purchase. Under the hood is a 1959 Chevrolet factory optioned 348ci tri-power V8 engine, added at the time of restoration. Every component and aspect of this vehicle, according to the consignor, was restored, resulting in a vehicle that is as wonderful to drive as it is to look at. The attractive red and white color combination accents the classic tail fins and lines of 1959 styling extremely well. A fiberglass bed cover was added by the current owner. Currently, this El Camino sits on white wall radial tires wrapped around mag wheels; however, the original wheels, tires, and hubcaps are included with the sale. Classic, first generation El Caminos in this condition are difficult to find. Offered for sale with a title and registration.
