Designed by Harley Davidson in the early 1930’s, the servi-car was an attempt to increase Harley-Davidson’s sales and create more uses for their products. Servi-cars were often used by automotive dealerships and shops to provide quick mobile service to individuals when needed. The rear compartment allowed for caring tools and equipment while also providing space to give a stranded motorist a ride.
This Servi-car was restored by Steve McPhillips in NY in the late 1980’s. He was considered by many at the time to be the “go to” guy for Harley engines and restoration. The current owner purchased the vehicles over ten years ago and has kept it in a well maintained running condition. Often taking it for small rides and showing it at numerous events. It is powered by a matching number 45ci engine, both halves of the engine casting numbers match. It features a 3 speed transmission, reverse, and starts and runs extremely well.
Recently the Servicar was serviced for a tune up by a well respected Harley-Davidson specialist. The motorcycle is offered for NO RESERVE and is sold with a registration.
