Offered for sale with No Reserve is this 1946 Chevrolet 3/4-ton pickup. Currently, this pickup is owned by famed artist Jamie Wyeth and has been used at his Tenants Harbor Boatyard for fun summer drives. According to the consignor it spent much of its life in Texas and relocated to California with a previous owner in 2013 before coming to Maine. The truck is painted black over a gray and black interior, and power is provided by a 216ci inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission with an ultra-low first gear. Equipment on this pickup includes chrome trim and bumpers and a crank-out windshield. The ignition system was serviced and an oil and filter change was performed during prior ownership. The cab features a black vinyl bench seat and rubber floor mats contrasted by a gray metal dash and door panels. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a suite of factory instruments which includes a 100-mph speedometer and a quartet of auxiliary gauges. The odometer stopped working during previous ownership, and total mileage is unknown. The truck retains a six-volt electrical system, and services performed by the previous owner included replacement of the battery, ignition coil, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, rotors, and points. Sold with a Maine registration.
