Post War Americana just like Uncle Sam built! Very solid and rust-free car previously owned by an avid Early Ford mechanic out of North Carolina. Original rebuilt 239 V8 flathead with standard transmission. Car is an older restoration and remains mostly bone stock restored with the exception of dual exhaust and 12-volt conversion. Engine runs excellent and purrs quietly like a flatty should. Nice and presentable Maroon exterior as the car was painted from the factory. There are some imperfections in the paint on hood and cowl starting to come through due to age (pictured) but overall paint still shows well. Very good chrome bumpers and trim intact. A set of fender skirts go along with the car but could use some touch-up if desired to be used. Complete interior has been re-covered in an attractive newer style tan vinyl material and the dash remains stock original with working gauges. New Coker Classic white wall tires, an aluminum radiator and brake service has also recently been performed. A fun ride for parades, weddings or that Sunday afternoon Ice Cream cruise. Great piece of American automotive history for any collector at an affordable price!
