Interesting story, John Miller jr who worked at Republic Aviation and raced with Bill O’Connell recognized the car at the Greenwich Concours in 2000 and sent a handwritten letter to the organizers to get in contact with
3rd owner Mark Evans. October 21, 2000.
The letter included photographs of the Dellow racing, and the Republic Aviation Club Badge and Patch.
22 years later I have the letter, and it had a phone number. I called the number and John Miller lll answered. I spoke with John about the letter and Greenwich Concour in 2000 and he remembered and stated, “he was with his Father that day and remembered the story of the Dellow”. I explained that I was researching the car and came across the letter. I told him I would like to get the Badge and Patch in the photos to join back with the Dellow.
John Miller lll thought they should belong with the car and sold me the photographs, badge and patch.
Awesome guy and great story.
