Absolutely gorgeous example of a first mid-year design for Chevy trucks and the one that practically started it all! Absolutely gorgeous example of a first mid-year design for Chevy trucks and the one that practically started it all! Very desirable short-bed “big back-window” version that has received a full-restoration and catches all the attention wherever it goes. Extremely solid west-coast truck for majority of it’s life until it was shipped out east from Oregon in 2019. Powered by an era-correct 283-V8 engine which has been rebuilt along with the factory-style 4-spd manual transmission. Full tune-up and recent upgrades added just this year include a petronix ignition, new shocks, rebuilt carb, new alternator, brake service and new exhaust. Truck runs beautifully and is ready to enjoy. Exterior is finished in a stunning shade of Bordeaux-Red metallic that glistens in the sunlight and fits the truck perfectly. Excellent chrome bumpers, grille and trim with a beautiful dark-oak wood bed kit. Truck rides nicely on correct 15″ steel wheels with Chevrolet accessory hubcaps and Coker wide-white radial tires. Interior shows just as nice with a black vinyl bench-seat, correct rubber floor mat and stock painted dash with original gauges. Cool off with the vintage accessory cabin-fan or warm up with the original working heater. Underneath is super solid (as one would expect from a western truck) and the engine bay is nicely detailed as well. These old trucks are extremely popular right now and it’s getting harder to find the good ones that haven’t been cut-up or modified. This one is all dialed in and ready for work or play!
