This 1955 Ford Thunderbird has been owned by the current caretaker for over 30 years and comes from the stable of a longtime collector of quality specialty automobiles
Overall, this Thunderbird is described by is current owner as an excellent automobile that has been well cared for its entire life. The original body has been repainted once. Under the hood this vehicle is powered by a recently rebuilt 312ci V8 paired to a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. The engine has the optional Thunderbird “dress kit,” and the wheels have the optional wire wheel covers. New beige hartz canvas was used to replace the aging convertible top. The electrical system was converted to 12volt and the carburetor was upgraded to the four barrel option. Sold with a registration.
