This handsome Nassau Blue Chevrolet Corvette from 1966 has only amassed 39,050 miles since it left the factory. The recipient of a gorgeous older restoration that still presents incredibly well, this real-deal 427 cubic-inch, 425-horsepower roadster must be seen, heard and driven to be believed.
Two thick binders detail the restoration right down to having dozens of laminated photographs that confirm that, apart from a date-code-correct and re-stamped block replacement, this is an incredibly correct, numbers-matching car.

The arrow-straight body was resprayed in the correct and stunning blue hue and is nicely accented with brilliant chrome bumpers and trim, as well as the iconic side exhaust and knock-off style wheels wrapped with redline radials. Even the rubber weather stripping was replaced as was the soft top. The very clean and dry underside of this C2 is impressive as well.
As indicated on the window sticker, this Corvette came with many desirable options in addition to that awesome powertrain. Highlights include the auxiliary hard top, tinted glass, teakwood steering wheel, leather seating and the AM/FM radio.
Hop in behind that wood-rimmed wheel and you’ll note nearly everything is in factory-fresh condition. The seats and door panels as well as the instruments and controls all look and work great.
Under the hood is that brawny 427/425 V8 that’s matched to the original Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed gearbox and 3.55-geared posi-traction rear end. That rumbling side exhaust sounds fantastic without being obnoxious. As you can imagine, it’s a thrill to wheel this powerful, classic Corvette roadster around, whether cruising along a curvy country road or roaring up a freeway on-ramp with the four-barrels and that exhaust singing.
A gorgeous, holy grail Corvette that has the ultimate combination of powertrain, colors, options, correctness and documentation, this alluring 1966 Corvette 427/425 roadster invites your close inspection. Sold with a registration.
