This 1967 Austin-Healey, serial #HBJ8405848, is a well-restored and maintained vehicle with a unique story. The current owner purchased the Healey from a Dutch owner in 1980 while living in England, and it has traveled around the world with him as a faithful friend ever since. Because it was originally built in England, it is one of the few right-hand-drive Austin-Healeys you will see on the road in the United States. This vehicle underwent a detailed, methodical, frame-up restoration ultimately completed in the mid-2000s. In August 2014, David Clarke of Sports Car Services in Westminster, VT, went through the car again to sort out and fine tune a variety of minor mechanical issues and fully serviced all aspects of the car, resulting in an excellent running and driving Austin-Healey. Documentation for this vehicle includes invoices for the restoration and mechanical work, its original license plate from the UK (CRF888E), a Heritage Certificate and bills of sale from previous owners. Sold with a title and registration.
