This sporty 1973 Triumph TR6 has been nicely restored and is a blast to drive. The Triumph TR6 was a sports car built by British Triumph Motor Company between 1968 and 1976 in Coventry, England. A total of 83,480 were exported to the USA. As the commission number and body serial numbers indicate this vehicle is a 1973 Triumph TR6 that was exported to the USA. As the commission plate indicates it was born Pimento Red with black trim. This car was professionally restored 18 years ago and has been with the same owner since it was completed. The car has been driven roughly 5,000 miles since the restoration. It has always been garaged and well maintained. The exterior body presents very well. The car was painted in its original color of Pimento Red which looks great on this car. The paint is very presentable and was recently detailed. The black convertible top was replaced new and is still in great condition. The convertible top and interior cover is included. Everything on the exterior was replaced or restored such as the front windshield, moldings, mirrors, door handles, grill, front bumper, headlight bezels, rear bumper, lenses and lights. The car sits on new 15” TR6 8-spoke wheels that are wrapped with Dunlop Axiom Plus redline tires. The exterior is complemented with a beautiful black interior. It’s equipped with a roll bar that was upholstered in black. The bucket seats have red piping that matches the exterior. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as sun visors, dash pad, dash, simulated dash wood, gauges, steering wheel, door panels, seats, console, carpeting and appointments throughout. It has a Rockford Fosgate stereo with CD player and custom “Triumph” carpeted floors mats. Everything in the interior is in working order. The trunk compartment is nicely stored with a carpet mat and spare tire underneath. The engine compartment is painted and nicely detailed throughout. Everything in the engine compartment was restored or replaced. The car is powered by the matching numbers 2.5L In line 6-cylinder that runs great. The engine is coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts very smoothly. The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout. Everything underneath was restored or replaced such as the exhaust system, suspension system and braking system. This car has been restored to a higher quality than most Triumphs on the market for sale. This car is a true classic that puts a smile on your face. This car has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
