This show quality 1975 Triumph TR6 Roadster is total eye candy with its classic design and striking color combination of Delft Blue and Tan. It currently has 58,678 actual miles as indicated on the clean title. The vehicle is powered by its original matching numbers 2.5L Straight 6-cyclinder engine and upgraded 4-speed w/ overdrive manual transmission. The Triumph TR6 is a sports car built in Coventry, England by the British Triumph Motor Company between 1969 and 1976. Only 9,113 US-spec carbureted models were produced in 1975. The TR6 ranks among one of the most popular British for everyday modern transport which makes them very collectable around the world. As the original chassis number plate indicates #CF36935U was built in March of 1975 with a Delft Blue exterior and blue interior. Prior to the restoration this was a very solid original TR6 that was matching numbers. During the restoration the interior was changed to tan to enhance its appearance. The restoration was completed in late 2018 and it’s only been driven seldom since completion. It retains all its original sheet metal throughout with only a light repair to the lower section of one front fender. During the restoration the rear quarters weren’t removed so it still has the factory seams. The body is straight with excellent gap lines throughout. The hood, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. It was finished in its original factory color of Delft Blue which is very desirable. The beautiful paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine. The color is complemented with a new black soft top with zip out window that was ordered from Rimmer Brothers in the UK. The front windshield was replaced new and is crystal clear. The factory stamped door glass is in very good original condition. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the windshield trim, Bosch wipers, antenna, drivers side mirror, front grille, headlight bezels, Sylvania halogen headlights, parking light bezels and lenses, original re-chromed front bumper with rubber guards, door handles, gas cap, rear taillights bezels and lenses, original re-chromed rear bumper with rubber guards, emblems and decals. The car sits on new 16” Rota 8-spoke wheels that have a gray center and polished lip. The wheels are wrapped with new BF Goodrich Silvertown Redline Radial 215-65-16 tires which look amazing. The tan interior was completely restored and looks spectacular. The sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, steering column, gauges and center console are black with give the tan bucket seats, door panels, rear panels and carpeting the perfect contrast. The Tourist Trophy wood steering wheel, Custom Autosound stereo and coco style floor mats add a few custom touches. Everything in the interior is in working order including the heating system. The trunk compartment wasn’t restored to display the original patina. It still retains the original Delft Blue paint which is perfectly worn showing some red primer in certain spots. The original spare was repainted. The trunk carpeted mat was replaced and looks great. The painted engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with many correct parts. Some of those parts include original wiring, TRF Suppression 16K wires, green hoses, red radiator fan, Lucas washer fluid container and brake reservoir. The car is powered by the original matching numbers 2.5L straight 6-cyclinder engine that was completely rebuilt and runs excellent. It’s equipped with Zenith 175 CD-2 Stromberg Dual carburetors. The engine breathes through a Stanpart V3389 exhaust manifold and new stainless steel exhaust system that sounds sweet. The engine is coupled to an upgraded 4-speed w/ overdrive manual transmission that operates very smoothly. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed throughout with many correct parts. The floors were re-finished in red oxide which looks clean. The steering components, suspension system and braking system was restored or replaced during the restoration. This vehicle has been recently serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included. This vehicle is sold with a clean title. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
