The Cordoba was built based on the New Yorker model in the Chrysler lineup and marketed as a two door “personal luxury” vehicle. Commercial advertising featuring famed Hollywood actor Ricardo Montalban helped propel Cordoba into the mainstream of popular American culture. 1970’s vehicles such as this Cordoba are quickly rising in collector popularity.
This particular Cordoba has been extremely well cared for its entire life. Its current owner, a professional auto detailer, has continued that tradition of care and maintenance with this vehicle. Overall described as a very good automobile, this Cordoba has many top level options for 1977 including the larger 400ci engine, power steering, power brakes and bucket seats that, of course, are covered in that beautiful “Fine Corinthian Leather.” According to the consignor, this vehicle has been pampered its whole life and has mostly only been driven in the summertime. The tires are new and it has a remanufactured transmission. It is described as very reliable and enjoyable to drive. Records with the car include the original window sticker, manual, sales brochure, and maintenance records. Sold with a registration.
