This 1979 Ford F100 short bed fleetside was considered a top of the line model at the time. Highly desirable within the collector truck market, this F100 features the Ranger and Lariat packages.
According to the consignor, this truck began its life as a Southern truck and remained as such until purchased by the current family 15 yrs ago. The original manual and warranty card is included confirming the status as a Southern Truck. It has been well cared for the entire time. At the time of purchase the truck had the current engine, a period-correct 429ci V8, which at some point was installed by a previous owner. According to the owner, who represents the vehicle as a very good condition vehicle, this truck runs and drives extremely well. The interior is in excellent condition. The tires are wrapped around cragar wheels and a nice looking hard tonneau covers the bed. This truck is ideal for the person that wants a quality great classic American pickup to drive and that shows great, while still not afraid to take to the hardware store for a parts run. Sold with a title.
