She is still capable of turning heads! This sweet Super Beetle is in top condition, and shows extremely well, evidence of the care she has received over the years. Housed indoors since the initial restoration in 1993, her looks and functionality have been further enhanced by on-going restoration at Columbia Classic Cars from December 2015 through 2022. Full maintenance records are available. The body’s silver paintwork is crisp and clean.
The Beetle now has a completely rebuilt engine, installed in 2016. It has a replaced clutch, and new throttle cable, a new fuel filter. The replaced black fabric cabriolet roof is in fine condition. While showing expected wear, the original black vinyl interior features stylish period woodgrain dashboard inserts, a new Pioneer Super Tuner radio and cassette player with new antennae, a working clock, fresh carpeting, and replaced window rubbers. New Michelin XZX radial tires have only 700 miles on them, as the car has been in heated storage for the past five years. Equipment includes spare tire, wrench and jack, booster cables, protective tarp, front end “bra” cover, and cabriolet roof cover.
