Under the hood this L8000 is powered by its original Ford 474ci / 7.8L diesel engine and paired with a six speed manual transmission. Until recently, this “Louisville” spent its entire life as a fire truck and was maintained to a high standard by its fire department. The current owner professionally lengthened and repainted the frame.. The original tires are still on the rear of the truck and on the front wheels are two new 11R22.5 Firestone tires.
