The Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel drive, two-seat sports car that was sold by Chrysler and built by Karmann of Germany for the 2004 through 2008 model years. Developed during the union of Diamler and Chrysler the Crossfire is based on the Mercedes-Benz “R170” platform which shares 80% of its components with the first generation SLK. The name “Crossfire” refers to the two character lines that run from front to rear along the body sides and their crease directions cross below the mirrors on the door panels. As the original window sticker that’s included documents this example was ordered and shipped to Fairbanks Chrysler located in Tamarac, FL. It was ordered with the following options: Sapphire Silver Blue Metallic exterior, Dark and Medium Slate Gray leather interior and five-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick. As the clean Car Fax Report that’s included documents the first owner who lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL took delivery on May 11th, 2004. The car has spent the last 19 years with the original owner in Florida until recently. The exterior of this car is in very good condition. The paint was recently detailed to a show quality shine. The car features a straked hood and fender vents in addition to tinted glass, power adjustable heated mirrors, fog lights, antenna integrated in rear window, active rear spoiler and dual center-exit exhaust outlets. The 18” and 19” silver finished aluminum 7-spoke wheels are wrapped with new Goodyear Eagle Sport tires that are 225-40-18 on the front and 255-35-19 on the rear. The two tone Dark and Medium Slate Gray leather interior is also in very good condition with silver-finished accents. The leather wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Additional amenities include Crossfire logo door sill guards, sun visors with vanity mirrors, automatic dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control with cabin air filtering system, power locks with auto central locking feature, power windows with one-touch down feature, telescoping steering column, power and heated seats. It’s equipped with an AM/FM stereo radio with CD player, 240-watt amplifier and six Infinity speakers with subwoofers. The trunk compartment offers 7.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout. It still retains all the original factory stickers. The car is powered by a 3.2L V6 SOHC 18-valve aluminum engine that was factory rated with 215 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission with optional Autostick shifter that allows for manual gear. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed throughout. Some of the functional safety features include the touring suspension, antilock four-wheel disc brakes, emergency brake assist, traction control and electronic stability program. Two sets of original owner’s manuals and three keys are included. This vehicle was recently serviced and detailed.
