This attractive three-owner 2004 Mercedes Benz SL500 only has 32,735 original miles and is part of the MS CLASSIC CARS “NO RESERVE” COLLECTION. As the original window sticker that’s included documents this example was ordered and shipped to Phillips Automotive, INC located Virginia Beach, VA. It was ordered with the following options: Pewter exterior, Stone leather interior, panorama roof w/ sunshade, tire-pressure monitoring system, bi-xenon headlamps, keyless go, comfort package – active ventilated front seats, driver and passenger multicontour seatback, trim package- wood/leather shift knob and wood/leather steering wheel, AMG sport-package- 18” Turbine style 5-hole alloy wheels and AMG design sculpted lower body kit. As the clean Car Fax reports that’s included documents the first owner who lived in Bethany Beach, DE took delivery on August 22nd, 2005. The first owner enjoyed the car for over 8 years before selling it to the second owner on February 3rd, 2012 with 15,468 original miles. The second owner lived in East Weymouth, MA. The second owner decided to sell the car roughly one year later. The third owner purchased the car on April 26th, 2013 with 18,609 original miles. The third owner enjoyed the car for over 10 years and only drive it an average of 1,400 miles per year. The exterior of this car is in excellent original condition. The entire car was tested with an electric paint meter by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. It retains 100% of its original factory Pewter paint with the exception of the lower part of the front bumper cover which was recently re-finished because of small inperfections. The paint was recently detailed to a show quality shine. The car features a retractable hardtop that works smoothly. It rolls on staggered width 18” Turbine Style 5- hole alloy wheels with new Continental Extreme Contact which are 255-35-18 on the front and 285-35-18 on the rear. The Stone leather interior is also in excellent original condition with wood accents. Some of the interior features include 4-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, electric tilt steering column, dual-zone auto climate control with dust filter, integrated cup holders, 12-way adjustable heated seats with 3-poisiton memory, auto-dimming side mirrors, COMAND navigation, AM/FM radio with 6-disc CD changer and 8-speaker Bose audio sound system. The trunk compartment provides 10.2 cubic feet of cargo space. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with no signs of oxidation or deterioration. It still retains all the original factory stickers. The car is powered by a 5.0L Twin Spark 24-Valve aluminum V8 engine that runs excellent. It is factory rated with 302 horsepower @ 5,600 rpm and 339 lb-ft of torque @ 4,250 rpm. The engine is coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed throughout. Some of the performance and handling standard features include active body control suspension, front independent 4-link and rear independent 5- arm multi-link, electronic braking system with antilock and brake assist and electronic stability program with automatic slip control. The original owner’s manuals, previous service records and Mercedes Benz car cover are included. This vehicle was recently serviced and detailed.
